“Najat Islamic Markaz” is an educational and service-oriented organization. Renowned scholar Sheikh Hafez Ahmed Hamidi initiated and planned it. In 2008, the activities of Najat Islamic Markaz officially began in Dewankalabari Union of Sreemangal Upazila, Moulvibazar District.
Aim and Objectives: Keeping three main objectives in mind, it conducts its programs. These are: Education, Service, Research.
Education : Education is the backbone of a nation. Without education, a nation can never move forward.
By establishing the foundation of time-befitting and beneficial Islamic education in the light of the Quran and Sunnah, keeping in mind the education planning of the Bangladesh government, opportunities are created for students to become qualified and well-mannered citizens.
Modern Education System : Creating a beautiful and conducive environment for the students. Providing modern education in computer operation, secretarial training, tailoring training, English speaking, Arabic speaking courses, etc., so that they can stand on their own feet in their future lives.
Special Education for the Visually Impaired : Providing education to visually impaired students in the Braille system. Also, providing other necessary support, including medical care.
Orphan Care : Our society’s orphans are very helpless. Najat Islamic Markaz arranges free accommodation, food, and excellent educational facilities for these orphans.
Darun Najat Quami Madrasha : The maximum duration for a student in the Hifz (memorization of the Quran) department is 4 years. This is not primarily age-dependent but rather relies on the student's aptitude. Generally, a student can complete Hifz in 3 years, and another 1 year is required for reviewing (Daurah). If a student cannot complete it within 4 years, the head Hafiz (Quran memorizer) of the Hifz department can extend the time based on consultation.
